Free 30 minute consultation
I am currently accepting new clients for in-person as well as telehealth sessions for clients living in Maryland, though I strongly believe that in-person sessions are much more effective. Being in a safe space outside of the client's home (which may be chaotic and provide little privacy) creates an atmosphere that's much more conducive to an effective therapy experience. Being in the therapist's office provides a clear boundary and distinction separate from home (or these days, working from home). Additionally, it's very hard to develop a rapport through technology compared to being in the physical presence of another person.
*Sitting 6 feet apart
*Large plexiglass barrier between myself and client
*Sanitizing door knobs and furniture with U/V light between sessions.
*Hand sanitizer available
*Masks are optional
While I prefer in-person sessions, I do offer telehealth sessions via a secure portal. I cannot provide telehealth sessions with clients living in a state other than Maryland per the Board of Social Work Examiners.
